Post Subject: How to open Palm V

You have to open Palm V with a hot hair dryer. No kidding. They have glued these things together. Place face down on towel or something soft to not scratch screen. then work all the way around edge of unit with hot hair dryer until glue begins to soften up. This takes patience. I also used a small butter knife to pry open sides but be careful. You have to really get it hot.

I know this sounds silly but where did you learn to melt the glue in a Palm with a hairdryer. Also, is it possible to take the screen out of a Palm V and stick it in a 515. I cracked my screen by mistake and would rather save the 110 pound repair cost.
