Looking to expand functionality of shortcuts

I own the Handspring Visor Deluxe. I'm looking to find an application or hack that will let me expand on the functionality of the Visor's shortcut symbol. Right now, I can go into preferences/shortcuts and set up a shortcut that will replace text. The shortcut symbol is drawn on the graffiti input area as a lowercase script 'L'. I use a hack called TealLock. By using the shortcut symbol and then writing an s or an h, it shows or hides my private records without me having to go into the security preferences. I'm looking for something that will let me switch applications using that symbol. have any of you heard of anything out there? If not, would you pose the question to your other mailing lists/newsgroups you belong to? Any help would be appreciated. I've looked all over, but to no avail. Someone once told me that there is a way to program the shortcuts from within the Palm OS, but the method is undocumented; however, I cannot confirm the accuracy of this. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide.
