I tried out one of the new m100's at our local Circuit City
a couple of weeks ago, and I've gotta say, I don't know
what the reviewers have been complaining about...
The form factor, ergonomics, and cover are all plusses,
and the screen is so much easier to read I don't
understand why a lot of folks are whining about the
smaller dimensions (the number of pixels are the
OK, so not everyone will agree with me -- each person
has their own very personal reasons for choosing their
Anyway, my current machine (provided temporarily by
my employer) is a TRG Pro, and although I have no
strong complaints about it (it even has a CF card slot,
and can run apps from the 32Mb card I installed) - it's
not for me. Not after I got to handle the m100.
So now I'm wondering if the stuff I will need to do over
the next year will fit in the m100's 2Mb of RAM.
Currently, I have only 1.76Mb in use on my TRG - but
apps come and go frequently on my machine.
Somebody please tell me that Palm is planning an
8Mb version! :-)
