I am attemting to connect to my MSN email account using a Palm V and my cellphone. The Palm and the phone connect perfectly, but MSN will not let me access my account this way as apparently the Palm doesn't support Secure Password Authentication. MSN say they have no fixes, and 3Com do not have any supported programmes, but I am sure there must be a solution out there! I can't possibly be the only person in the world with this combination of gadgets ;-) If anyone can offer any advice, I would be very grateful, as the only alternative I can see is either to change ISP (and, surprisingly I am otherwise happy with MSN!!)or to use Hotmail to collect my POPmail from MSN, and download it through the web (long-winded and expensive, as well as having the inconvenience of a Web-based mail programme rather than Outlook) Any thoughts??? |
