Hi, I just bought the Palm V a couple days ago and can't get the email to synch with Netscpape Messenger. There is no option in the Palm Desktop 3.0.1 for Nescape mail. I downloaded Palmeta Mail 1.73 but it doesn't help. Usually, all I get is the header of the most recent unread message... that's it. Anybody have better luck? I'd love to hear it, 'cause email is why I bought the Palm V...I'll have to return it!

Subject: Solution: MultiMail

MultiMail Pro synchs with my IMAP server (essentially ignoring Netscape), so I can receive and send and both programs are happy. MultiMail worked with me to iron out some details, they sent me an updated .dll file and everything. I now love my Palm V!!! - J

Subject: because of IMAP...

Hi everyone, I learned from Palmeta that I can't use their product if Netscape is looking at an IMAP server...their product assumes POP3. So I can't use Palmeta Mail and I (evidently) can't use the Palm system alone. Does anyone know of an ap that feeds the Palm V email from an IMAPserver through Netscape? - John

Looks like when you connect to IMAP server you get only the header of the message. The body is missing. I am using Netscape 4.7 connected to IMAP mail server. It worked fine with POP3, though.
