Does anyone know whether I can replace the $4.00 drugstore calculator on my $400 Palm III with a real scientific calculator? If so, where can I get it? I'd buy an app that had some memory storage and basic trig, algebraic functions. I'd kill for a real RPN with stacks. I've heard there's a financial one that might be Ok, any hints???

You might want to try Synergy's SynCalc at http://www.synsolutions.com/products/syncalc/ . It is a very powerful Scientific Calculator. Or you might want to try checking out the list of Scientific Calculators for the Palm at PilotZone. They have about 15 listed there. http://www.pilotzone.com/

Post Subject: Syncalc

I downloaded the trial version of Syncalc several months ago. When I tried to demonstrate it to one of my associates today after using it only once previously and deciding that ComplexCalc was better for my needs, the program locked my PalmIII and required a full reset with complete data loss. Since I use my PalmIII for time and billing records, I was considerably more than irritated at the loss of a weeks worth of records. I would not recommend Syncalc to anyone after my experience with their trial version.

Post Subject: Statistical Calculator needed- Can handle Chi!

I'm looking for a statistical calculator. More specifically, one that can handle data from questionnaires, and that will perform chi-square calculations to test the significance of any posib;e associations in the data... I've looked on a unmber of sites without success. Scientific caculators dont necessarily do this sort of thing! Help.....
